Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with Altohaus. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase on altohaus.co, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays will begin processing the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed and shipped.

During high-volume periods such as holidays, sales events, or product launches, processing times may extend to 3–5 business days. We will communicate any significant delays by email.

Shipping Rates

Free standard shipping on all orders over $75. Orders under $75 ship for a flat rate of $4.99. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is collected.

Delivery Timeframes

Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days after shipment
Express Shipping: Not available at this time

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Altohaus is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather events, natural disasters, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control. Business days exclude weekends and federal holidays.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to all 50 US states and Washington D.C. We do not ship to US territories, PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time. International shipping is on our roadmap — sign up for our email list to be notified when it becomes available.

Multiple Packages

Some orders may ship in multiple packages from different fulfillment locations depending on product availability and supplier. If your order arrives in separate shipments, you will receive individual tracking numbers for each package. You will not be charged additional shipping for split shipments.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update after you receive the shipping confirmation email. Altohaus is not responsible for tracking inaccuracies caused by carrier systems.

Incorrect Shipping Address

It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Altohaus is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you realize you have entered an incorrect address, contact us immediately at hello@altohaus.co. We will do our best to correct it before shipment, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has been processed.

Orders returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at the customer's expense.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Altohaus is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery by the carrier. If your tracking information shows delivered but you have not received your package, please:

  • Check around your property and with neighbors
  • Contact your local carrier facility directly
  • Wait 2 business days — packages are sometimes marked delivered early
  • Contact us at hello@altohaus.co if the issue is unresolved

We will work with you and the carrier to investigate, but we cannot guarantee replacement or refund for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, contact us at hello@altohaus.co within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will review your claim and offer a replacement or refund depending on availability. Claims submitted after 48 hours of confirmed delivery may not be eligible for resolution.

Delays & Uncontrollable Circumstances

Altohaus is not liable for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: carrier delays, severe weather, natural disasters, labor strikes, public health emergencies, or customs holds. We will do our best to communicate any known delays affecting your order.

If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of your confirmed ship date, please contact us at hello@altohaus.co and we will investigate immediately.

Order Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled before they have been processed and shipped. Once an order has been fulfilled and tracking has been assigned, it cannot be cancelled. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@altohaus.co if you need to cancel an order.
